Physics lectures

This page presents some animations of physics topics which students often consider difficult, because these topics tend to be taught in abstract ways. The students may learn the formulas and be able to apply them, but being unable to visualise the effects, they will not get the real feeling and will quickly forget it. It is hoped that these animations, as an addition to standard lecture notes, will increase the understanding and joy of physics.

Note: the animations require Macromedia Flash player to be installed. Free obtainable from http://macromedia.com/
