| Thomas Gangale holds a Masters degree in international relations from San Francisco State University in the U.S. He is the author of two books published by Praeger, a leading U.S. publisher – one regarding sovereignty issues in outer space and the other suggesting reform of presidential nominations in the U.S. His proposals regarding presidential nomination were anthologised in Points of View: Readings in American Government and Politics. | Dr Horowitz is a U.S. sociologist, specialising in the anthropology of ancient and medieval Indo-european speakers, including the anthropology of ancient science in Greece. He earned his B.A. and M.A. in politics at Brandeis University and New School university respectively, then an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in urban life from the College of Public Affairs at Oregon's Portland State University. | Dr Morris has taught the anthropology of play and environmental anthropology at Israel’s Ben Gurion University. She retains an M.A. and Ph.D. in anthropology from Hebrew University and Ben Gurion University respectively. Her articles on anthropology pedagogy and Tongan sports have appeared in Practicing Anthropology and Play & Culture Studies, whilst an entry on Israeli games was recently included in Sage Publishers’ Encyclopedia of Play. | Dr Pāunga is former minister of Tonga's Ministry of Labour, Commerce, and Industries, with key responsibility for championing the Kingdom's admission to the World Trade Organisation. He was previously Mambusho Scholar at Daito Bunka University in Japan, where he received a Ph.D. in economics. He is fluent in Japanese, as well as Tongan and English. |

| Dr Quesada-Moaeteau holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Marseilles, France. Her articles on human interaction with earthquakes and volcanoes have been published in Journal de la société des océanistes and High Plains Applied Anthropologist. Her research regarding human interaction with a volcano on an outer island of the Kingdom of Tonga was funded by the Fyssen Foundation in France. |

| ‘I. Futa Helu PROFESSOR EMERITUS OF PHILOSOPHY AND TONGAN CULTURE |
| Dr Helu held an Honourary Doctorate in Literature from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. He founded ʻAtenisi Institute in 1963 and served as its director until 2007. His published work includes a monograph on the philosophy of Herakleitos, a collection of essays on Pacific culture, and a study of Tongan cognition. |
